Hatha Yoga

Rachel’s Hatha Yoga classes include a steady sequence of asanas (Yoga poses) to ease out tension, strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, enhance energy flow and calm the mind. The class includes Pranayama (breath work), meditation and relaxation, Sun Salutations (a flowing sequence of asanas), standing balance practice, and a really good stretch out.

This class is suitable for most levels. It involves laying down and sitting on the floor, transitioning to standing and being able to place the weight into hands, knees and feet. This class can be adapted to make it as accessible as possible.

Hatha Yoga is suitable for beginners.

Hatha Flow is a slightly faster paced class, working on connecting movement with breath and increasing stamina. It requires some prior knowledge of basic Yoga poses.

‘I attended one of Rachel’s London classes a few weeks ago and it was fantastic! She was so calming and relaxed and created a lovely atmosphere for everyone to take the class at their own level/pace, with options for alternative positions. Everyone should go!’
